Lagos: 6-year Boy rescued after 24 hours from Collapsed building

A six-year-old boy was late Wednesday pulled out of the collapsed building at the Idumota area of Lagos Island alive, more than 24 hours after the incident.

Newsmen reports that the boy was pulled out of the rubbles with just a few bruises.

A witness, however, told newsmen that the parents of the boy were among those killed in the incident.

Lagos State Government on Thursday said it would demolish three adjourning buildings to the four-storey building, located at Mogaji Street, Idumota.
