Eagle Square would be demolished – FCT Minister

Federal Capital Territory Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, has said that the popular Eagle Square in Abuja will soon be demolished in line with the original Abuja master plan, in order to ease traffic congestion in the state.

Mohammed further said, the square would be relocated close to the National Stadium, Abuja.

Can you imagine! Another wasteful venture. Why was it built in the place at first instance? Was the plan not in existence then? This is less expected from the government covert. Or what do you think?

Of-course, it is a wasteful venture. l wonder why it was built in the present location, if it was not in the Abuja master plan.

Who knows how many millions of Naira, if not billions, would be voted for the construction of a new Eagle Square, at the detriment of the masses. Money that would have be allocated to a ministry to create jobs or solve pressing needs of the masses.

Sometimes, our leaders acts, can be likened to pure wickedness.
