Maiduguri: Motor bikes now haram

Private and commercial motorcycles disappeared from the streets of Maiduguri yesterday after the government announced a blanket ban on all motorbikes from plying the roadways in the state capital and environs, as part of efforts to tackle the rising wave of violence in the state.
