Senate confirms Sambo’s nomination

The Senate yesterday officially confirmed the receipt of President Goodluck Jonathan's nomination of Governor Namadi Sambo of Kaduna State for Vice President. An e-mail statement from the Senate spokesman, Ayogu Eze, said the upper legislative body will read the letter on the floor of the Senate today.
