2011 DFA Exchange Programs for Medicine Students

The German Exchange Office for Medical Clerkship (Deutscher Famulantenaustausch, DFA) is a non-profit association organised by volunteers. The dfa thinks of its activities as a contribution to international understanding and student support. It sees its main task in arranging clinical traineeship placements and research projects. Every year, approx. 350 positions of this kind are arranged for German students. In return, a student from this guest country goes to Germany. Applications are to be made by the foreign students in their home country.

Benefits:
•   Arrangement of clinical traineeship placements
•   Arrangement of participation in research projects
•   Each participant is accommodated by a supervisor free of charge

Target Group:
Medicine students who wish to carry out their clinical internship in Germany.

Duration: Generally one month
