IGP places embargo on movement of explosives

The Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Hafiz Ringim, has placed embargo on the movement of explosives in the country without clearance from him.

Ringim gave the order while briefing newsmen against the backdrop of the seizure of 700 explosives in Abuja, on Thursday, last week, brought by certain construction companies.
