Nigeria, Second Largest Oil Exporter Amongst The OPEC Nations

I was reading a note on President Goodluck Jonathan's titled "As Nigeria Soars". It was stated that Nigeria is now the second largest oil exporter amongst the OPEC nations. It will be more appreciated if the citizens feel the impact.

As Nigeria Soars

Nigeria is now the second largest oil exporter amongst the OPEC nations an improvement from seventh place last year. This is as a result of several factors including the hugely successful Amnesty Programme which this administration will continue to pursue with vigour.

We have also seen an expansion of our oil industry leading to the creation of  of new jobs, a reduction in casualisation of workers and positive multiplier effects on our economy.

I thank the host communities and their youths and I also want to express deep gratitude to Nigerians for keeping faith with us.
