Job Title: Senior Manager, Learning and Development 
Reference: SM/LD/8/10
Department: Human Resources
Status: Permanent

Overall purpose:
Understand the business and learning environment of the company to identify core learning and talent development needs and context

Job description / Responsibilities:
•   Be a strategic L&D to business unit leadership to help uncover/assess their training needs as well as provide strategic advise to address learning needs and enhance learning programmes suited to business needs.
•   Liaise with other functional/departmental line managers to understand all necessary aspects of staff training needs and ensure that they are fully informed of training and development plans and objectives.

Report to: Director, Human Resources and Administration

Qualifications/Experience:
•   BA/B.Sc in Arts or any Social Science related discipline.
•   A related Masters degree.
•   Professional qualifications and membership of CIPM.
•   Minimum of 12 years work experience, preferably in the Human Resources with at least 5 years of management experience within the learning and development function.
•   Training accreditations is strongly preferred.
•   Prior experience in needs analysis, design, development and delivery of blended learning activities.
•   Experience in developing and managing relationships with external consultants.
