Focal Point Group, Owners of Focal Point Dry cleaning & Laundry Company as well as Sardauna Magazine are desirous of recruiting dynamic ideas people to fill the following positions as part of our efforts to beef up our Team and strengthen operations.

1. MANAGING EDITOR

•   Based in Abuja, the Managing Editor will perform advanced diversified editorial and administrative management of Sardauna Magazine.
•   He/she will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of stories and editorial quality are constantly met and will be expected to chart a new direction for the magazine in line with global trends.

Qualification:
•   A good university degree in Mass Communication or its equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience
•   Excellent writing and analytical abilities with ability to single handily produce a magazine. Fluency in Hausa Language is an added advantage.
•   Must possess high energy, initiative good communication and interpersonal skills

2. DEPUTY EDITOR

•   Based in Abuja; the Deputy Editor will support the Managing Editor in ensuring that production deadlines are met without failure.
•   Will contribute to lead stories and will be expected to make robust contributions to the different departments of the magazine.

Qualification:
•   A good university degree in Mass Communication or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience
•   Excellent writing and analytical abilities with ability to single handily produce a magazine.
•   Must possess high energy, initiative good communication and interpersonal skills

3. ADVERT MANAGER

Based in Lagos the Advert Manager will be expected to deliver on the magazines' advert/ revenue targets on an ongoing basis.

Qualification
•   A good University Degree from a reputable University or an HND from a reputable Polytechnic
•   Experience in advert marketing either for newspaper or magazine will be an added advantage
•   6 years experience is required for this position

4. ASSISTANT CIRCULATION MANAGER

The Assistant Circulation Manager will collaborate with the Circulations Manager to ensure high level visibility and the eventual attainment of national footprint for Sardauna Magazine.

Qualification:
•   Good University Degree or HND from a reputable institution
•   Experience in advert marketing in a magazine or newspaper institution
•   3 years experience is required for this position
•   Must be ready to work in any part of the country


SARDAUNA MEDIA CHILD DESTITUTION ERADICATION FOUNDATION

1. DIRECTOR

Based in Kaduna, the director will report to the GMD as the administrative head of the foundation. The Director is to ensure the collaboration of international donor agencies, corporate organisations, individuals, federal, state and local government. Create a strategy plan to help achieve our goal of building a school and hostel in each Local Government of Northern Nigeria. Ensure proper running of our hostels.

Qualifications:
•   Candidate must possess a good University degree. An MPA and a minimum of 8 years experience in NGO administration will be an added advantage
•   Must possess high level interpersonal skills. Ability to relate with high net worth individuals, public and private organisations and embassies with a view to securing funding
•   Must be fluent in Hausa, a Muslim of Northern Extraction and must be passionate about the eradication of almajiranchi.
