Enyimba became the first team to reach the semi finals of the 2011 Orange CAF Champions League after a 2-1 victory over Sudanese giants Al Hilal on Friday in Omdurman.

The Peoples' Elephant came from behind to snatch the maximum points at the expense of their hosts in their penultimate Group A match to go clear at the top of the group.

Valentine Nwabil and Samuel Tswania scored the for the 2003 and 2004 winners in the second half after Zimbabwean Edward Sadomba gave Hilal the lead after four minutes. Enyimba has 11 points, four more than Hilal with a game remaining.

Hilal, unarguably Sudan's most successful club in the continental club championships for the past decade started the game on a positive note pinning Enyimba to their half, but the lost the game in the second half.
