River state police command rescued one Madam Felicia, a 74- year-old, and recovered the sum of N600,000 ransom fee already paid to her kidnappers, recently.

According to a police report obtained by Sunday Tribune in Port Harcourt over the weekend, Madam Felicia was kidnapped on August 21 this year.

The report provided by the state police command's spokesman, Ugwuegbulam, the rescue operation followed a thorough investigation, adding that the victim was rescued after the kidnappers sustained injuries in the ensuing crossfire.
