Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Design and Construction Project Managers in the Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the Technology and General Services Department (TGS), this position is responsible for the development of the Fund's requirements for MEPFP systems and for ensuring their incorporation into the design of HQ1 building and for participating in the successful construction and post-construction close-out of the HQ1 Renewal Program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•   Leads the organization of the interface between the staff and the design team. Researches and documents MEPFP requirements from operational staff, and facilitates the delivery of those requirements from design through construction.
•   Develops and reviews the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection (MEPFP) design, energy modeling construction and monitoring, control system integration and commissioning set up. Ensures that the Fund's requirements are integrated into the design or if their requirements are not feasible for any reason the rationale is communicated.
•   Coordinates with FMD O&M Liaison and General Contractor to review and finalize phased renovation of MEPFP systems. Oversees outage process, and serves as the point of contact to resolve issues related to FMD O&M interface.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:
•   Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a relevant advanced university degree, supplemented by a minimum of four years of professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities or Design and Construction field, or equivalent; or a bachelor's degree, supplemented by a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities or Design and Construction field, is required.
•   Technical background in mechanical/electrical system trades and working knowledge of safety relative to MEPFP trades.
•   Experience with BIM and Revit is preferred.
