Abuja fans yesterday went berserk destroying objects on sight at the National Stadium Stadium after the country's national team, the Super Eagles, were sent out of the qualifiers for the 2012 Nations Cup.

Why were fans booing or wanting to lynch Siasia? The Coach is not the problem or reason why Nigeria did not qualify for African Nations cup. Corruption, administrative problem, indiscipline on the part of the players, football politics, to mention a few, are the problems of Nigerian football.

It is unfortunate that Guinea qualified at the expense of Nigeria. Underrating any team is bad for the game of football. Matches are not won on the drawing board, but on the field of play.

Anyway, it is lesson for Nigeria players and football administrators.
