Cleric Lauds Aregbesola Developmental Agenda

The Chief Imam of Alawe Mosque of Isale-Osun area of Osogbo, the state capital, Alhaji Liasu Nyass, has showered praises on the Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over his six-point integral action plan and the development the state is experiencing.

Speaking with OSUN DEFENDER in Osogbo recently, the Islamic cleric stated that the efforts of the state government is commendable,  over the creation of OYES, O'TOUR, O CLEAN, which have saved unemployed  youths from perennial joblessness that has been a major setback affecting the future of the country.

He consequently commended the efforts of Governor Aregbesola not only in creation of jobs, but also in ensuring that the state does not experience another flooding, through proper disposal of refuse and channelisation of the streams.

The Islamic cleric also commended the efforts of the OYES corps members throughout the state, for their courage and characters in carrying out their various duties.

He then advised the OYES corps members to be patient and tolerant during their daily services and to believe that it is an avenue for them to serve their fatherland.

"Endless efforts with adequate sanitary exercise is the solitary tool that can be used to rescue a state from filthiness before enjoying a hygienic atmosphere", he said.

He therefore advised the governor to allow critics within and outside the state to enable him have distinct knowledge about his set goals, while also urging him not to relent in his effort by rising up to the challenges ahead of him, as he stands better chance in face-lifting the state.
