Breaking News: Tribunal Upholds President Jonathan's Election

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal on Tuesday upheld the election of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The five-man tribunal headed by Justice Walter Onnoghen, which delivered judgment in the petition filed by the Congress for Progressive Change against Jonathan's election, held that the challenge lacked merit.

The CPC has, however, said it will appeal the verdict at the Supreme Court.
