The recent fuel subsidy removal by the administration of Goodluck Jonathan has caused lots of chaos in Nigeria. Several opinions and thought are being posted on social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, Forums etc...

This thread is created to allow us post people's opinions on social networking sites over fuel subsidy removal in Nigeria. While I will be sharing some that I read, do also share yours for the Nigerian voices to be heard globally! Thanks.

Fuel Subsidy in Whose Interest, Making More Richer Billionaires or degenarating the Masses???

TIPS FOR THE NATIONAL PROTEST - Share please.
You could be exposed to tear gas, so
1. IDENTIFY your unit leader at starting point and receive logistic for dealing with panic situation that may arise
2. DO not come out with contact lens
3. BE fully clothed
... 4. HAVE a soaked bandana or paper towel in lemon juice AND store it in a plastic baggie. breathe through the acidified cloth
5. Tight-fitting swim goggles help protect the eyes
6. Don't panic. Remove exposed clothing as quickly as practical and take a shower.
7. DRINK lots of water to avoid dehydration
8. IF you have asthma, stay behind - you can still help remotely with logistics
9. IF tear gas is fired, do not panic by scampering, it endangers you and others
10. CHARGE your phone battery and airtime.

BASIC SUPPLIES TO BRING TO A PROTEST:
1. Water, as much as you can carry
2. Vinyl gloves, if you have
3. Extra clean shirt
4. Comfy shoes for running
5. A few medical supplies such as band-aid, aspirin, methylated spirits, etc

Nolly Wood Supports Fake Removal of Fuel Subsidy!!!. . . Anybody shocked @ this stale news must be welcomed with very loud cheers into the world of 9ja Reality Show 2012 and not the negative hypnosis of The Nolly Wood Industry. . . Old man Olu Jacobs led many other old and young vanity chasing "Nolly Wood" Superstars or Superscams to seriously campaign for Gej. . . Did they campaign for him for free and the love 9ja Masses or for fees ?. . . We are waiting for the Musicians, Comedians, Entertainers Union to tell us who they stand for that is if they have any Union like Nollywood Claim they have one undivided union or body. . .

Recall the lofty purposes, zeal and paper outputs of Okigbo, Oputa, Uwais... endeavors. So much for Mr Kolade's appointment.
Subsidy reinvestment and stabilization board is not backed by law. Don't be fooled!!!

Jonathan will never seize to amuse me. He is making an Octogenerian to come and manage saving from subsidy. The committee does not even know how much is available for them (they will have to detertmine it), they don't know what exactly they will have to do. When will our own generation have our detsiny in our hand. FRESH AIR is here indeed. Where will the savings come from also as there is no provision for subsidy in 2012 budget.

9 months ago, new parents started adding Goodluck to there new born babies name, but dey av forgotten dat the child will take after his name sake, Killed his father at younger age, find trouble for his elderly ones and sent them to jail bcoz of properties, marry a wife dat will destroy his father wealth and his kinsmen dignity dat will bring down HOUSE. 9ja b wise.

now all those hu voted based on stupid sentiments r counting their losses, unfortunately, they have affected every1!!!!!

I have been receiving threats from both my friends and people I dont even know about my wall posts...please note, am not a coward, am a patriot, and I am not even interested in engaging people like you, I want to engage with the Obas, the pastors, Imams who misled gullible Nigerians to vote for Jonathan, I want them to speak....that is why am always posting my location, I am not afraid of SSS, or whatever...Shameless Idiotic Nigerian muguns being ruled by moron...

The govt claim dat fuel subsidy rmoval would free revenue which can be utilizd 4 development. But this is a pure lie!! Wat hav they achievd wit d rvenue dey already hav? Steady power supply?..NO!! Provision of potable drinkin water 2 d masses?..NO!! Standard roads & transport ntwrk?..NO!! Quality public education system?..NO!! Employment 4 d masses?..NO!! Poverty alleviation,,NO!! Yet they say they need more revenue,I have heard rumours dat our president is taking advice 4rm foreign specialists,if this is true then it is a pity.how could our president be blind 2 d fact dat these pple knowin dat Nigeria has the potential 2 rule the oil market now seek 2 pull it down 4 d good of their own country? I am only a 14 year old student but I hav seen while sitting what our president has failed 2 see even while standin...Nigerians beware of dogs!!
