About the Organization:

•   Advans is a network of MFIs in developing and emerging countries (Cameroon, Ghana, DRC, Cambodia, Tanzania, Cote de Ivoire) offering financial services to MSMEs. Horus created Advans with several major international development finance institutions (EIB, KfW, FMO, AFD, IFC, CDC).

•   The Advans network presently comprises six financial institutions and the objective is to create ten additional microfinance institutions over the next five years in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

•   Advans provides these MFIs with financial resources whilst Horus provides them with technical assistance services.

About the Job: As part of the group's expansion Advans, Horus is looking for a responsible VIE Agency for its future institution in Nigeria, based in Ibadan.

Role/Responsibilities

•   The VIE participates in the development of operations as Head of Agency for example.

•   It works under the supervision of the Director of Operations. there is responsible for the proper understanding and implementation of policies, methodologies, procedures and tools by members of the sales team within the agency before to convey the direction to a local Branch Manager.

Its missions are:

•   Animate the sales team to achieve the goals set by management Operations

•   Involved in approving and overseeing the operations of credit and savings in limit of the existing delegations of authority

•   Contribute to the formation of the future Agency Manager

•   Participate in the recruitment of Officers credits, customer support, the

•   Cashiers and other staff of the agency

•   Form continuously Officers Credits, Customer Assistants and Cashiers

•   Ensure the proper collection of funds and support missions recovery when needed

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

•   Bac +4 / 5 in economics, management or finance

•   Fluent English

•   At least 2 years professional experience preferably in the significant banking, or management of sales teams

•   Experience in a developing country would be an asset

•   Education, maturity, dynamism, autonomy, sense of initiative and contact listening skills, ability to work as a team and managing teams
