Scholarship Description: The research project Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) is financed by the Danish Research Council for the Social Sciences and the postdoctoral position is specifically designed to work with the following research question "How research managers in nano- and biotechnology make sense of issues of social responsibility and how they try to incorporate such considerations into their strategic and managerial activities in the laboratory?" Research should include data from at least two of the three countries investigated in the SSR Project: Denmark, USA and UK. The candidate is expected to present a research plan (appendix 4) that fits with the overall project description of the SSR project.
