Role Synopsis:

•   At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for ensuring inventories are accounted for completely, accurately and timely.

•   He is to report to the Inventory Co-ordinator to ensure correctness of inventories such that sufficient reliance can be placed on its book value.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

•   To ensure material orders, goods receipts, goods issues, deliveries, transfers, Scrap, Disposals etc are posted within 24 hours or following work day if weekend or holiday.

•   To ensure that consigned stock is reviewed and confirmed with local operations management each month.

•   Help operations to plan and manage material orders and netting with other BHI locations. Raise ISTO, Sales Order etc.

•   Do weekly cycle count of inventory, investigate outages and secure approval before proposing adjustments to Finance for booking.

•   Conduct Annual Physical inventory Count, investigate outages, and secure approval before sending adjustment document to Finance for posting.

•   Do sample count of selected assets each month and once every quarter confirm with local ops management existence of assets in the Fixed asset register.

•   Keep SLOB down and review open order every month to ensure timely booking of goods receipt..

•   Ensure inventories are properly warehoused and customer owned inventory/equipments are well identified, labeled and segregated.

•   Ensure policy adherence and segregation of duties and follow BHI HSE and security policy while performing your duties.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in any of the Social Sciences, Computer Science with 1+ year's related experience.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

•   Proficient knowledge of product line business.

•   Thorough understanding of inventory management.

•   Proficient in use of computer and SAP.

•   Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

•   Good analytical skills.
