Our client is a global leader in marine and engineering services. Expanding its activities in the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria, the company is looking to recruit an Administrative and Finance Manager in Port-Harcourt.

Job description:
•   As a member of the General Management Team, the Finance Director will be responsible for managing finance and accounting information.
•   He/she will also play a key role in defining the strategy of the subsidiary and in operational decision making process.
•   He/she will be responsible for running the finance and administration aspects of the subsidiary.
•   He/she will be assisted in his/her duties by a team of around 10 members.

The main responsibilities will be to:
- Supervise the branch's financial planning and policies, accounting & cost control practices, and maintenance of its financial report in accordance with Group procedures,
- Prepare the monthly and annual financial statement,
- Manage the treasury, taxation and budgets,
- Make sure information is effectively communicated to the headquarters and alert management regarding the different priorities for internal auditing,
- Manage the personnel and human resources department,
- Supervise the information technology department,
- Manage public relations with external bodies (banks, auditors, tax authorities, Customs, insurers),
- Ensure that internal controls and systems comply with accounting standards, statutory requirement and corporate guidelines,
- When necessary be in charge of General Management when the General Manager or his deputy is absent.

Who we are looking for?
•   We seek ideally a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years in an audit or financial position in construction, oil & gas services, civil works or B2B.
•   Because of the remote location and local living conditions, you must have a stable personality along with a stable personal environment.
•   You'll possess fluent verbal and written English. French would be advantageous.
•   The position is based in Port-Harcourt with 8 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation.
