Job Description:

Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. Be a contributor to innovation and build

•  Proof of concept examples. Other responsibilities may include: Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices.

•  Implementation and customization of web applications /SharePoint-based solutions

•  Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows and events receivers

•  Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform

•   Development of custom web parts

•  Creating Business Connectivity Services Solutions for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010

•  Developing Solutions by Using the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Server/Client Object Models

•  Developing Ribbon Controls, Dialogs, and Silverlight Applications

•  Brand SharePoint Web Solutions: Master Page, Page Layouts, HTML, Javascript, XSLT, CSS, Ajax and designing tools.

•    Develop, test, debug, and document Web applications using current .NET and SharePoint 2010 development strategies.

•   Customize new and existing SharePoint  2010 solutions through Visual Sudio and SharePoint Designer, to include creation of new workflows, pages, and InfoPath forms.

•  Develop custom workflows in SharePoint 2010

Job Requirements:

• Extensive (3+ years) experience designing, building, deploying, upgrading and testing custom SharePoint 2007 and 2010 solutions and web parts

• Extensive experience as a C# / .NET developer and associated technologies.

• Thorough understanding of SharePoint technical architecture

• Experience in a technical development role on SharePoint design/development projects

• Experience deploying enterprise level applications using SharePoint 2010

• Experience integrating SharePoint with additional applications

• Experience modifying SharePoint UI, including master pages, page layouts and CSS

• Experience with Web Services (WCF).

• Experience designing, developing, and implementing InfoPath solutions

• Knowledge of SharePoint ecosystem, including 3rd party providers

• Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development environments is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create comprehensive technical documentation

• Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008

• Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Development        

• Ability to work as part of a team
