Late DIG to get due honours– IGP

     The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Dikko Abubakar has said that all honors will be duly accorded to late DIG John Haruna, who died in a chopper crash in Jos, yesterday.  

The IGP said this while talking to journalists after he paid a condolence visit to the family of the late police officer in Abuja.  

According to the IGP, "four of my officers died, which is very tragic to the police force. We will do everything that we are supposed to do to give them a befitting burial. They died in active service and this is the sacrifice police officers make across the land."
