Njorku To Release Version 2.0 Of Its Job Search Engine On March 28 [PREVIEW]

Today at the 9ideas conference in Douala, Cameroon, Njorku, Africa's first job search engine, announced that it will release the latest version of its search engine on March 28.

Njorku which crawls the web (especially job and classified sites in Africa) to help users find jobs based on keyword searches is available in Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Uganda and Egypt.

The new version called Njorku 2.0 provides solutions for job seekers in Africa as it allows them to upload their CVs as well as create email and SMS alerts. It also features a user login interface which was not available in the initial version.

Last December, the job search engine made public its new algorithm that displays more relevant search results for jobs than ever before.

Njorku was launched on March 29, 2011 to the public and is based in Buea, Cameroon.
