The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) announces 12 vacancies for undergraduate students in Life Sciences or related subjects to work in a lab at the CNIO over the summer in Spain for the year 2012.

Study Subject is the Life Sciences or related subjects (e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics) and the course level is undergraduate summer training and the scholarship provider is the spanish national cancer research centre (CNIO). The scholarship can be taken in Spain.

Eligibility:

Scholarship open to undergraduate students of any nationality who are in their final two years of studies in the Life Sciences or related subjects (e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics). -Students will be required to present the results of their summer projects in a special session to be held at the end of the programme.

Scholarship open for International students also.

The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) announces up to 12 summer training opportunities for undergraduate university students in their final two years of biomedicine-related studies in any country.

The programme will run from June 18th to August 10th (8 weeks). Students will receive a travel bursary of 1.120€ for expenses plus the reimbursement of travel expenses. Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis taking into consideration the student's academic record and the personal statement.
