Role Synopsis:

•   At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for ensuring that the Baker Hughes operations exceed expectations and customer's requirements.

•   To maximise the company's market share and profits by facilitating cross product line solutions when applicable.  

•   To maintain and grow the company's status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

•   Provide skilled level support for the product line(s), technical selling, key field product application, well prognosis and/or completion product performance.

•   Assist with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions.

•   Investigate unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action.

•   Complete advanced well bore seminar and continue training in other product lines.

•   May be lead engineering/technical position in region or area. (Field Service Personnel not included).

•   Handle special projects as assigned.

•   Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years related experience.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

•   Skilled level knowledge of two or more product lines and proper application of tools.

•   Thorough understanding of down hole hydraulics and rig operations.

•   Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products.

•   Good problem solving skills.

•   Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
