Job Description:

•Develop and execute proactive communications programs that support channel initiatives and other customer-focused sales initiatives

•Develop and implement core business support functions in terms of IT applications, administrative processes and project management to optimise trade marketing and trade engagement activities

•Coordinate Engine Room activities, Trade activations and Regional sponsorships (e.g Festivals and concerts)  in HQ

•Work with Channel and Marketing Teams to prepare monthly sales briefs for the Field Force and implement trade marketing & distribution scorecards to assist tracking and feedback of objectives, strategies and operational plans

•Provide support for resource and project management of key trade marketing & distribution projects

•Manage third party activation and POS agencies

•Work with external agencies and field staff in the area of creative development and production of trade communication materials.

•Drive the planning and execution of new product/service and brand communication launches in the trade.

•Manage the trade support budget, ensuring a good balance of quality and costs

•Evaluate Field Force  performance against brand communication objectives  across the following channels:

oTrade Partner, Sub – Trade Partner  and retail Environments

oWalk-in-Centres

oConnect Stores & Connect Points

Job Conditions:   

•   Normal MTNN working conditions

•   May be required to work extended hours

•   Extensive travel may be demanded

•   Field visits will be a routine requirement

Required Skills:

•First degree in any relevant discipline

•8 years experience spanning Advertising Agency (optional), Trade Marketing and Sales experience (proven Business Manager experience with a key customer is a must)

•2yrs experience at a supervisory/managerial level

•Strong and proven understanding of working with third party organizations and coordination of solution-related activities.

•Experience in Customer Marketing, and Category Management would be an advantage

•Must have the ability to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact based solutions/recommendations

Qualification: First degree in any relevant discipline
