Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Abuja

Duration: 12 months

Organisations: Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA

Basic position description: The Log Co insures proper and adequate organization of the logistics team, set up of the mission's logistic procedures, opening of new bases, log support for the assessments and activities of the current and upcoming projects.

Objective 1: National Management of Logistics

Objective 2: Security management

Objective 3: Human Resources

Objective 4: Reporting

Objective 5: Representation

Level of study/specific qualifications/technical requested:

•   Substantial experience in logistics  & staff management, project support and follow up, security management, previous experience with ACF desired

•   Well organized and rigorous, able to multitask

•   Team spirit and good communication qualities

•   Good general knowledge in IT, mechanic, radio & satellite communications

•   High sense of diplomacy with authorities

•   Is previous humanitarian experience needed? Yes

o   Previous experience as a field logistician required, previous experience as Log Coordinator desired. Opening program/mission experience is an asset.
