-Candidates will hold a PhD in Medical Statistics or a closely-related subject, have an excellent understanding of statistical analysis for medical research and have a proven ability to communicate effectively to both statisticians and non-statisticians.Scholarship Open for International Students:International applications will be considered for this position.Scholarship Description:The post-holder will join a thriving group of Medical Statisticians led by Professor Janet Peacock. The role is a dual one with one half devoted to providing a professional statistical role for the Critical Care & Anaesthesia Research Group at Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation Trust (GSTFT); the remaining half being devoted to on-going research, consultancy and teaching within the Division of Health & Social Care Research.Duration of Awards:The post is fixed-term for two years, although the contract may be extended dependent on future funding.What does it covers?The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Grade 6 scale, currently £33,343 to £39,335, per annum, inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance, per annum.
