Suntai's deputy gets Assembly nod to serve as acting gov.

The Taraba State House of Assembly has adopted a resolution mandating Deputy Governor Garba Umar to function as Acting Governor while Governor Danbaba Suntai receives treatment in Germany.

Governor Suntai is receiving treatment for injuries he sustained after being involved in a plane crash near the Yola International Airport, Adamawa state on October 25.
