Description:    – Reporting to the Head, Legal Services, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for building and maintaining bilateral relations with foreign entities and countries on matters of identity management.  – In particular, he/she will handle meetings with international organisations and representatives of foreign countries.  – This role also encompasses the management of the Commission's International Trade Marks and Patents.

Key Requirements:     – A good first degree or its equivalent in International Relations, Law, International Law and/or Diplomacy. – A minimum of 8 years' relevant professional experience or 16 years' experience in the Civil Service. – Practical experience in legal drafting and conveyance, as well as intellectual property management. – Strong appreciation of the principles of economics and regulation in the Identity Management industry.
