Job Description:

IDC is constantly expanding its global business in the Middle East & Africa region due to which we are looking for a senior business professional to join our team in Lagos/Nigeria in position of the Senior Research Analyst – Telecoms. The position, reporting to the Program Director, Telecoms will serve both West Africa operations as well as support the regional goals and business strategy in the Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities:

•   Meet financial targets for business;

•   Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business opportunities on the WA market, coordinate sales activities of other team members;

•   Act as a leader, fostering a team environment while providing a vision for the team;

•   Assure on-time delivery of research and consulting;

•   Conduct research and consulting in area of expertise;

•   Actively develop new research, consulting and conference ideas;

•   Play an active role in promoting the success of the conference business;

•   Manage IDC WA operations, including timely delivery of financial and sales data in the required quality;

Qualifications:

•   Research management and client management skills;

•   People management experience and emotional maturity;

•   Familiarity with IT market developments and knowledge of the IT market in WA;

•   Established relationships with largest IT vendors would be an advantage;

•   Solid background in market research or consulting;

•   Good command of written and spoken English;

•   Strong commitment and loyalty;

•   Willingness to work in a growing and changing environment.
