Job Description

The T&D Sales Manager will; –  Plan and execute the sales effort for the assigned geographic area to achieve company sales and market share objectives. –  Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in geographic area of assigned responsibility. –  Work with Application Engineering and Product Managers to meet customers' product requirements. –  Assist Product Managers as needed to obtain industry and agency approvals unique to the assigned territory. –  Interface with company senior management on marketing/sales strategies, pricing programs, and policies. –  Review competitors and competitive actions in region including product and pricing actions

Desired Skills & Experience

•   BSME or BSEE (or accepted work equivalent)

•   3-5 years of outside sales experience selling to electric utility, oil&gas, coal chemical industry or working in either electric utility , oil&gas, or coal chemical companies within Nigerian Market.

•   Demonstrated drive and success to successfully achieve revenue targets, grow market share

•   Demonstrated success to alter customer specifications to include their products

•   Knowledge of electricity industry and a working knowledge of personal computers including common business application software; i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.

•   Strong oral and written communication skills in native language & English including group presentation skills

•   Good interpersonal skills & time management skills.

•   Strong fact based management & decision making skills.

•   Ability to work independently & travel extensively including valid Passport and Driver License
