Fenerbahce has successfully appealed Raul Meireles's 11-match ban, with the midfielder now facing just four matches on the sidelines.
The Turkish Football Federation [TFF] handed Meireles the significant suspension for allegedly spitting at the referee during Fenerbahce's derby loss to Galatasaray.
But the 29-year-old had his sentence downgraded after the TFF ruled it was "physically impossible" for Meireles to have deliberately spat at Halis Ozkahya given that he was speaking throughout the incident.
