Fenerbache keen on signing Emenike

Turkish side Fenerbache are refusing to let go of their pursuit of Nigerian stricker Emmanuel Emenike, after the Russian outfit turned down an offer for the player who is now reported to have agreed personal terms according to Turkish foremost sports website, Fanatik.tr.

His agent Rezan Epozdemir told TV Habertuk that the former Karabukspor player is prepared to make a comeback to the club he barely kicked a ball for, but Spartak Moscow have refused to negotiate for the player who has notched up five goals in 15 league games for the sixth placed team on the Russian log this season.

'' I have met with Emenike and Fenerbache have also agreed to the terms and conditions. However, I spoke with officials of Spartak Moscow and the Moscow team has no intention of selling the player. They say he won't leave the club for now '' he said.

Emenike who has been included in the Super Eagles provisional squad for the 2013 Africa Nations Cup joined the Spartans last summer for a reported fee of about ten million Euros following allegations of match fixing slammed against him in Turkey.
