Job Title: Training Manager

Food Concepts Plc is seeking to appoint a Training Manager to support the operations team in the training and development of our staff. This includes facilitating and supporting all classroom / in-store training systems for the company.

Reporting to the Group Head, Human Resources, the role is responsible for developing strategic training workshops and running training courses for all our brands and recognizing training needs and ensuring all needs are met.

Primary responsibilities:

•   Coordinate the effective running of the training centre

•   Ensure training centre operates at maximum capacity

•   Generate revenue by liaising with external companies with regards to the use of the training centre workshops & facilities

•   Maximize and track training centre revenue

•   Coordinate and run  graduate trainee programs

•   Build effective working relationship with managers  and deliver New Employee Induction

•   Train Managers on company specific strategic management tools, company policy and operations.

•   Run effective and relevant training courses for 'fast-track' managers who are required to assume immediate responsibilities.

•   Coach management teams in various locations

•   Drive and encourage participation in various recognition programs

•   Design, implement and maintain a training tracker for all employees

Your knowledge, skills and experience:

•   Experience in FMCG operations

•   Training & Development experience within the food industry

•   Familiar with the Food Industry Trends

•   Cost Management Skills

•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to present and implement training strategies

•   Proven track record of managing a training center/department

•   Strong organizational and influencing skills

•   Evidence of strong people and project management skills

•   Planning, Scheduling, Controlling & Coordinating

Educational Qualifications/Experience:

•   Minimum of university degree or equivalent

•   Minimum of 5 years working experience in training
