RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working closely with License Sales Management teams in order to identify, qualify and maximize the Consulting opportunities for Oracle Technology Solutions in areas of integration, identity management, content management, etc

• Identifying the appropriate Oracle Consulting Value Proposition and interpret it to the prospective client

• Managing prospects and clients relationships

• Generating proposals either as part of a license led opportunity or for Consulting services

• Acting as an ambassador for Oracle Consulting in new clients

• Generating, communicating and delivering an Account Plan for each account

• Managing the bid process for Consulting according to Oracle business processes and procedures

• Accurately forecasting against plans and targets

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the designated and new accounts

• Monitoring the delivery of consulting business once won to ensure margins are maintained and clients remain satisfied

• Acting as a point of escalation and resolutions for unresolved client issues

• Pro-actively updating industry and product knowledge

• Contributing to the development of Oracle Value Propositions for the industry

• Working with designated partner organizations on specific opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Write proposals with input from all relevant expertise in compliance with Oracle standards

• Present proposals to clients and manages them through the client approval process

• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and key contacts in the account(s)

• Produce regular and accurate forecasts as requested by the regional management team

• Obtain appropriate management approval for proposals

• Ensure the contracts are legally compliant and commercially viable

• Manage the execution of sales activities (e.g. demos and presentations)

• Hand over responsibility for delivery to Delivery Management and monitors the delivery progress

• Research and communicate current industry trends, drivers and potential

• Maintain a breadth of knowledge of Oracle's products and services

• Operate in line with Oracle business processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience and knowledge of selling/delivering Tech Consulting services to customers

• Business process and solution architecture understanding

• Implementation project experience with standard software application solutions

• Results orientation

• Good verbal and written English and/or French

• Good communication skills (both for internal and external clients)

• Team working oriented

• Proven successful solutions (project and or services) oriented sales

• Influencing and negotiating skills

• Strong Business and Customer Focus

• Proven ability to sell Services to customers on at least the CIO level

• Proven ability to operate in a networked environment (matrix-model, multiple reporting / interaction-lines)

• Perseverant, 'can-do' attitude (i.e. seeking multiple alternatives to 'get the job done' when the initial approach doesn't succeed)

• Must have a sales experience in software solutions marketplace preferably in Public, Telco and Banking sectors

• University degree
