Wayne Rooney should be fit for Manchester United's FA Cup replay against West Ham on Wednesday, says his manager Alex Ferguson.

However, Ferguson confirmed stricker Rooney will miss Sunday's Premie League match against Liverpool.

The 27-year-old suffered a knee-injury during training before United's Boxing Day match against Newcastle.

Winger Nani and midfielder Anderson will return to United's squad for sunday's game at Old Trafford.

Nani has been sidelined since the beginning of November and Anderson since the beginning of December, both with hamstring injuries.
