Redknapp: Remy rejected opportunity for QPR talks

Harry Redknapp has revealed that Loic Remy
will not be joining QPR after the striker
shunned a meeting with the club, whose
relegation battle is putting off possible
transfer targets.

The Marseille striker has been linked with a
number of Premier League clubs, although it is
believed he was the primary target for the R's,
whose manager Redknapp had previously been
interested in signing him for his former club
Tottenham.

Redknapp admitted that it is frustrating trying
to attract players to Loftus Road.
"I went over last week to watch him, not that I
needed to, as I watched him seven times when
I was at Spurs. I couldn't even get a meeting
with him," Redknapp told reporters.
