Sunderland signs defender on loan

Sunderland have signed Senegal international defender Kader Mangane on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has joined the Black Cats from Saudi club Al Hilal.

The tall defender is Sunderland's coach second signing following the arrival of France Under-21 international Alfred N'Daiye.

'' Kader is a player who will add to the overall strength of our squad and give us options '' said the Sunderland manager.

Mangane played for Lens and Rennes in France's Ligue 1 before moving to Saudi Arabia last year.
