Afonso tips Nigeria to win AFCON

After watching his team get totally outplayed by Nigeria's Super Eagles in a warm-up match on Tuesday, head coach of Portuguese club Farense, Antonio Afonso has heaped praise on the two-time African champions.

Afonso believes the 5 goals to 0 victory is a pointer to the strength of the West Africans.

The Portuguese coach also stated his belief that Nigeria will be champions at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.

'' You (the Super Eagles) have what it takes to win the championship, but you must take each game as it comes and adopt different styles for different opposition '' Afonso said after the game.
