Manchester City reduced Manchester United's Premier League lead to four points by winning Fulham 2-0 on Saturday all thanks to a brace from Spanish midfielder David Silva.
.
Manchester United are not in action until later today when they visit Tottenham Hotspur so defending champions City took advantage to breathe fresh into their title defence.
.
David Silva broke the deadlock in a magnificent way after just 96 seconds at the Ethiad Stadium, slamming home from 6 yards after Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer parried a long-range shot from Edin Dzeko (This man again..).
.
Steve Sidwell hit the post for the visitors in the 31st minute and City lost Pablo Zabaleta to injury before Silva added another goal with 21 minutes left, gathering a Carlos Tevez flick and getting the best of Schwarzer with a spectacular finish.
.
Meanwhile, Luis Suarez's lovely partnership with new Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge caught the eye as the Reds beat Norwich City 5-0 at Anfield to close to within three points of the European places.
