Johnson wants longer bans for spitting

Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has blasted West Brom's Goran Popov, red-carded for spitting at Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker on Sunday, and called for greater punishments for such offences.
                                                        The Macedonian faces a three-match ban after being sent off by referee Mark Clattenburg but the England international feels that the inhumane nature of the offence merits more severe consequences.
