Super Eagles and Chelsea Midfielder John Obi Mikel has revealed that the victory over the Elephants of Cote' de Ivorie was the mitivation they needed going into the match against Mali.

The Super Eagles trounced Mali 4-1 inside the
Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban to get to their first final since 2000.

"The game against Ivory Coast gave us a little bit of confidence so we decided to build on that instead of dropping from our performance. We kept our cool and did exactly what we did against Ivory Coast," Mikel said after the game.
