Uruguay's Nacional secured a 2-2 comeback draw at Ecuador's Barcelona in their Copa Libertadores group opener, while Ecuador's Emelec pulled off the shock of the evening by edging out Argentinian champions Velez Sarsfield in Guayaquil.
