Keshi is a man of destiny - Pastor Adebisi

Re-known minister Abiola Adebisi of Christ Miracle Church Ministry has stated that Nigeria stands to benefit from the coaching experience of Stephen Keshi as the country begin another quest to qualify for Brazil 2014 World Cup.

Speaking to CS Saturday recently, revealed that the anointing of God upon the life of Super Eagles gaffer ensured that 19 year old jinx was broken at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

"To the glory of God I got to know Keshi in the realm of the spirit. I was so concerned about sports in Nigeria and I put it before the lord and he said if there's going to be a way to forge ahead in Nigerian sports, that Stephen Keshi is going to be the next Manager of the senior national team," said Adebisi.

He continued: "When I declared this prophecy, the coach of our team Champion of Fire Football Club, Coach Henry Amatokwu got the information and contacted Keshi immediately, informing him that there is a prophecy concerning him and that he would be happy if he can come. Surprisingly, Keshi turned up and I told him he is the next coach. We put him on the altar (that was in 2010) anointed him and urged the congregation to pray for him and he went away.

Pastor Adebisi supported his claim by making available recorded videos of his encounter with the Super Eagles gaffer, stressing that he had assured Keshi of his prayers throughout the tourney.

According to him, Keshi called before and after each game in South Africa asking for prayers.

"God had a name for every match we played in South Africa. I would go before the lord; he would give me instruction to pass on to Keshi. For example the game against Cote D'Ivoire was a match of mercy.

The Mali match was tagged a game of support. That is, after he (Keshi) did all that was instructed, God assured us of his support all through.

Speaking further: "Like the Burkina Faso game, the lord said it was a game of dethronement. I told Keshi I see Nigeria sitting on the second seat out of four, Burkina Faso sitting on the first. But God says we must dethrone Burkina Faso by prayers and we will overcome. The essence of these is to let people know that Keshi is a man of destiny and that you need Jesus in your entire endeavor. You might be wealthy today; you may not end up well, if you don't give God a place in your life.
