Scholarships and Free-Tuition for PhD Studies at University of Tartu

All PhD studies at all faculties of the University of Tartu are free.

Every faculty and program has a number of PhD study places financed by the Estonian state which provides a monthly stipend of ca 400 EUR/month for the PhD student that receives this state-financed study place.

Application deadline: April 15th for non-EU, June 1 for EU.

How to Apply: students must follow the general application procedure for PhD studies.

Students who do not receive a state-financed place with a monthly stipend can still take advantage of the free tuition.
