Cross River State - His Excellency Sen. Liyel Imoke returns to office

"His Excellency, Governor Liyel Imoke wishes to thank his Excellency, Dr  Goodluck Jonathan the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and his dear wife, The Vice President Arch. Namadi Sambo and his dear wife, the good people of the state for their prayers, love, care, concern and understanding during the period of his absence.

"His Excellency is also profoundly grateful for the kind words and uncommon empathy shown by Nigerians, the media and lovers of Cross River," the statement read in parts.

It further quoted Imoke as saying that he returns home with renewed vigour for the task of furthering the growth and development of the state.

" His Excellency has returned home recharged and energized for the task of furthering the growth and development of the state, which in the past five years has not only become a tourists destination but is also now becoming an investment hub in Nigeria."
