The Jorge Paulo Lemann offers graduate fellowship program for students who are citizens of Brazil and who will enroll at Harvard University's School of Public Health, Graduate School of Education, or Harvard Kennedy School. The fellowships are awarded for one academic year with the possibility of renewal for one additional year. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of merit and financial need. After completion of the program the candidate are expected to return to Brazil. The fellowships also support dissertation research for doctoral students at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences whose work focuses on Brazil, which requires a different application form.

Eligibility: -Graduate students who are citizens of Brazil. -Students who will enroll at Harvard University's School of Public Health, Graduate School of Education, or Harvard Kennedy School -Candidates must apply for consideration before entering the U.S. and prior to the start of their Harvard programs. -Candidates must apply to and be accepted to an academic program at the university independently from this fellowship application.

In a short essay, not to exceed 500 words, please discuss your intended course of study at Harvard University and your career goals. -Requirement of Continuing Students Only: Letter from advisor which confirms that you are making satisfactory progress.
