Job Title: Director of Research (Clinical Sciences) – CONMESS 07 STEP I

The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos is a parastalal of the Federal Ministry of Health.

Salary Scale: (N4, 233, 344.00xN113, 207.00) per annum

Qualification and Experience:

•   The candidate must possess an MBBS degree and Fellowship of the National or West African Post-Graduate Medical Colleges or its equivalent in any of the clinical disciplines with least 15 years post fellowship experience.

•   An MPH degree is an added advantage.

•   The candidate must have had a minimum of four years work experience as a Deputy-Director or a similar position (Research) on the job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.

•   There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least Thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals. Evidence of administrative experience, competencies in computer application and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.
