The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos is a parastalal of the Federal Ministry of Health.

Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum

Qualification and Experience

•   The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Microbiology/its equivalent or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate Fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.

•   The candidate must have put in at least 4 years as a Chief Research Fellow or on equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.

•   There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications on peer reviewed journals.

•   Evidence of Administrative experience, competent computer application and ability /evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage
